Kimi is early riser. He wakes up as early as 6am. He just golek2 and playing while waiting his mommy and ayah to wake up. Such a good boy.

This morning, both Kimi and Mommy wake up earlier than me. I was half awake when Kimi poke me and said "AYAH". Mommy heard that as well. I'm not sure if it just a random sound he made or he really called me. What ever it is, it really make my day.

Both Kimi and Me were at the same age when the photos were taken.

Ajan keep saying that Kimi has my 'muka empat segi' smile, and judging by these photos, I couldn't disagree with her :)

Today is Nenek's birthday, all of nenek's cucus were here. Happy birthday nenek!

We're at Yong Peng this weekend for TokMa's birthday bowling gateaway! There is no camera allowed at the bowling alley, hence no picture of the events.

This handsome is half year old today. Check his update written by mommy. Among major accomplishments are he's on solid diet, recognize familiar faces around him and know how to play his favorite toy. Way to go boy.

Kimi's update:

• Kimi love to turn-around-pusingt-pusing-terbalik all the time. It now harder to keep this boy still especially when mommy want to breast feed him
• Kimi started to recognized people around him, he'll cry for mommy if he knows that mommy is around but not picking him up

All Muslim boy are required to get his tip off. I did mine when I was eleven. It is not the best experience but for sure it is very memorable one.

The question raised even before Kimi was born. Should or shouldn't we circumcise Kimi.

I always pro Kimi being circumcised early while he was young and know nothing about pain. There are many of reason for it and one of them is hygine. A circumcised penis does not collect any white stuff underneath the foreskin like an intact penis does. At least there is one less area to wash in the shower. I bet you most uncircumcised boy (and men) don't even bother to wash this area and it totally unhygienic.

Ajan on the other hand, against the idea. She can't bear the pain that young Kimi will bear. She event cried when the staff in Pusrawi make a tiny cut at Kimi's heel to get his blood for testing. Another reason is Kimi won't be having his Khatan kenduri later. It is not such a big deal but Ajan want Kimi to have his 'a step to manhood' ceremony.

At one time, I'm agree with my wife not to cut Kimi's tip off. The fact that there is still not many baby being circumsized these day make me feel OK with the decision. At least, when he grow up, he will be the same with most of his peers.


But that decision has changed. We were advised by Kimi's pediatrician to circumcise him. The reason, there are many bacteria in Kimi's urine and it doesn't sound good. So we made appointment with Dr Zul and Kimi will get his tip off tomorow!
